Keeping you home safe against break-ins
Residential break-ins are more likely during the daytime when homes are empty and you are at work. How do you keep your home safe against them? Here are some tips:
-Keep your doors and all windows locked.
-Keep your garage door closed and the entrance door between the garage and your home locked.
-Keep your plants and shrubs well trimmed giving the intruder less ways to hide.
-Remember to put away tools, lawnmowers, toys and such in your shed or garage when finished using them.
-Make sure your house number is displayed from the street so as to aid police or any other emergency vehicle in finding your home after a break-in is reported.
Remember to report all suspicious activity to the local authorities right away. Talk to your neighbors often to keep up with changes in the community. Let's all join together to keep our neighborhood safe!
